The E-21 survey is a much shorter version of the full 4Cs survey which focuses only on the top drivers of job satisfaction in the U.S. It takes only 5 minutes for employees to complete and provides you with a succinct summary of how your organization is performing on these most important topics.
How were the E-21 questions chosen?
We've been collecting employee engagement data since 2001 and have analyzed responses from millions of employees in that time. Using this data we perform detailed statistical analyses to determine which topics are most highly correlated with job satisfaction among U.S. workers. These topics then became the basis for the E-21 survey, along with a few other key questions we feel are equally important to measure. The end result is a short but extremely focused survey which can be completed in much less time while still providing clear direction and valuable insights to HR and management.
How does it work?
It's a simple process. You provide us with a list of your employees, we set up and distribute the survey by email. It typically runs for 2 weeks, and then we will produce your reports within 5 days after the survey is closed. The reports include an overall summary with comparisons to the U.S. industry benchmarks, a heatmap report that compares group scores within your organization to the total, and a verbatim comments report with your employees' thoughts on specific areas that can be improved. And if you want expert analysis and recommendations we can provide that also as an extra add-on.
It's not worth doing an employee survey if you can't take action based on the results. Our goal is to make the process painless and give you the guidance you need to make good decisions.
